Overview
Expand your organization's training capacity with the Interaction Essentials Trainer Program. This training is a three-day certification program that equips early childhood education professionals to facilitate adult learning and deliver CLASS-based training to support educators within their organization.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING?
Coaches or Trainers who want to provide more powerful educator professional development. This training will drive a deeper understanding of CLASS and improved interactions within your programs.
Before attending this training, you must be certified as a 2nd Edition Observer for Infant-Toddler or Pre-K to ensure you have the necessary expertise in CLASS.
If you are already certified as an Interaction Essentials Trainer in another age level, we have created an easier option for you to earn this certification. Complete this short form to have a CLASS expert assist with your enrollment.
*If you hold an active or provisional Pre-K CLASS Group Coaching certification, please register for the Pre-K CLASS Group Coaching Transition Training.
Training Details
Interaction Essentials Trainer Program
The Interaction Essentials Trainer Program creates certified trainers who can deliver research-based CLASS training designed to enhance educator-child interactions and deepen CLASS knowledge within their organizations. This program scales capacity for continuous quality improvement by refining facilitation skills and enabling the delivery of comprehensive trainings that focus on the interactions that matter the most for children’s learning and development.
Upon completing the training, you'll have 8 weeks to complete the Trainer Knowledge Test to become certified. This test validates your adult learning and facilitation skills, as well as your CLASS expertise. Once certified, you’ll gain the rights to deliver CLASS trainings in your organization
All participants are required to sign a training agreement upon passing the Interaction Essentials Trainer Knowledge Test, and annually upon recertification.
Age Levels: Infant-Toddler, Pre-K
Prerequisites: Active CLASS 2nd Edition Observer Certification for Infant-Toddler or Pre-K-3rd.

We will be using Zoom Video Conferencing for the training. Click the below link to find the Zoom Video Conferencing set-up and directions. Teachstone prides itself on participant success. Success in our virtual training is dependent on your attendance and active engagement throughout the training. As such, participants are asked to be on-time each day of the training, and engage in whole group and small group discussions and activities.
