Virtual Pre-K Affiliate CLASS Trainer Program

Build capacity to scale CLASS data collection and conduct ongoing observations to measure improvement. This three-day training prepares participants to become certified CLASS Affiliate Trainers with in-depth CLASS content knowledge, training facilitation skills, and the credentials necessary to deliver CLASS Observation Training and the Introduction to the CLASS Tool training to colleagues.

 

Prerequisites: Current CLASS Observer Certification (within 10 months prior to the Affiliate CLASS Trainer Program start date) for the same age level. All participants are required to sign a training agreement upon completion of the course, as well as annually upon recertification. The agreement will be provided via email on the first day of your training.

Affiliate CLASS Training participants will receive:

While attending the Affiliate CLASS Training, participants will develop in-depth CLASS content knowledge and training facilitation skills necessary to deliver CLASS Observer and Introduction to CLASS trainings.

Completion of the training program culminates in a one-year Affiliate CLASS Trainer certification and standard, restricted training license, which enables trainers to conduct official CLASS trainings for colleagues within a single, Teachstone approved organization including:

• CLASS Observation Training to create Certified CLASS Observers

• Introduction to the CLASS Tool training to increase basic understanding of the framework

Teachstone prides itself on participant success. Success in our virtual training is dependent on your attendance and active engagement throughout the training. As such, participants are asked to be on-time each day of the training, and engage in whole group and small group discussions and activities.
