Overview

Expand your understanding of CLASS® and earn a certification to deliver certified trainings that establish consistent CLASS knowledge and reach across your organization.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING?

Observers and trainers who want to scale their program's CLASS Implementation. This training will drive a deeper understanding of CLASS and improved interactions within your programs.

Before attending this training, you must become certified as a 2nd Edition Observer to ensure you have the necessary expertise in CLASS.

If you are already certified as a Measurement Trainer in another age level, we have created an easier option for you to earn this certification. Complete this short form to have a CLASS expert assist with your enrollment.

Training Details

The CLASS 2nd Edition Measurement Trainer Program is a three-day facilitated training designed to scale quality CLASS data collection practices within an organization. Participants sharpen their facilitation competencies and deepen their CLASS knowledge to become in-house CLASS trainers and experts. Once certified, you are qualified to train observers and educators in the CLASS framework.

Upon completing the training, you have 8 weeks to complete the Trainer Knowledge Test to become certified. This test validates your adult learning and facilitation skills, as well as CLASS expertise.

Once certified, you gain rights to deliver CLASS® trainings in your organization

Age Levels: Infant-Toddler, Pre-K

Prerequisites: Active CLASS 2nd Edition Observer Certification for Infant-Toddler, Pre-K or Pre-K-3rd.

*All participants are required to sign a training agreement upon completion of the course, as well as annually upon recertification. The agreement will be provided via email on the first day of your training.
