Overview

Build your CLASS expertise to unlock the potential of great teaching in your organization. Our virtual trainings equip observers, coaches, teachers and everyone in between to see through the CLASS lens, help others see through the CLASS lens and directly impact teaching with CLASS.

By participating in this virtual training, participants have the ability to complete half of the training independently at their own pace through online coursework and reduce ‘zoom fatigue’ by only being on a video conference for roughly 5 hours each day.

Access to the required online coursework will be made available approximately 1-week prior to the training start date. Required online coursework must be completed prior to the Day 1 trainer facilitated session in order to receive access to the Zoom Meeting Link. Participants will need to complete required online coursework daily throughout the training to continue participating in the facilitated sessions.

Description

The first step on your CLASS Journey. During this 2-day, virtual training, participants will build an in-depth understanding of the CLASS methodology and prepare to reliably assess teaching quality by focusing on the most important driver of classroom learning: the interactions teachers have with their students.

Please note: In order to receive a certificate of completion and the Infant reliability test participants must complete all online course work and attend all facilitated sessions. If participants do not fully complete the online learning, they will not be permitted to participate in the facilitated sessions or have access to the Infant reliability test

Teachstone prides itself on participant success. Success in this live, blended online training is dependent on participant completion of online coursework associated with each facilitated session, attendance, and active engagement throughout the training. As such, participants are asked to complete the online coursework prior to the scheduled start time of the next session, be on-time each day, and engage in whole group and small group discussions and activities.
